Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actor best famous for her character Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran between 2015 and current. For the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played the 13-year old Lebanese American teenager Jasira that experiences a rollercoaster of emotions within the context of the U.S. intervention in Iraq during the Gulf War. Her subsequent selection as one Variety's Top 10 Actors of 2007 also came as a huge recognition. She also played a powerful part in the 2009 crime drama Crossing Over. For this, she received a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award under the category of Female Lead. Her other film roles include Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, as well as several guest TV appearances.
