Allana participated for Australia in Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries caused her to go through a number of seasons without playing before switching to the Rugby League. Allana played in her first women's rugby union game that was played in New South Wales in 2013 and was the star of that match against Queensland. Allana has also added radio to her game, regularly appearing on the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana has also earned a teaching degree. Allana Ferguson holds the rare distinction of playing for Australia in three sports, rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos football player who was in the rugby league for a number of years, has had to end her playing career before the age of 25 because she injured her ACL for the fourth time.
